Currumbin Rock Pools is a popular family-friendly spot with clean toilet facilities, BBQ areas, and ample shaded space. It's great for exploring, with several waterfalls and rock formations you can jump off into deep water. The rock pools are mostly deep but also have shallows suitable for young children. Visitors recommend wearing shoes that can go in the water and arriving early due to limited parking. The area can be slippery and rocky, requiring careful supervision for young families. Despite the occasional crowd, it's an excellent location for a family outing or a picnic. A cafe is available across the road.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
